A Message from the Club President

         The Gloucester Rotary Club continues to "Lead the Way"

The 2006-2007 theme of Rotary International is "Lead the Way".  For over 83 years the Gloucester Rotary Club has led the way with many service projects in Gloucester.  Our "Centennial Project", the rebuilding of the Stage Fort Park playground, will be completed during this Rotary year.  It is the most ambitious centennial project in our District and one in which all members of the Gloucester Rotary Club can be proud of. 

Rotary International President William Boyd has asked the world's 1.2 million Rotarians to emphasize three areas of concern:  water management,  literacy, and health and hunger. Through the Rotary Foundation and it's support by our members we can all help to make the world a better place to live. The eradication of polio continues to be a goal of Rotary.  Hopefully, this will be the year that we will prevail over that dreaded disease.

The Rotary Club of Gloucester, as it always has, will continue to "Lead the Way" by providing the leadership that will help ensure a better quality of life in our community and the world.
